Karate Tournament Taekwondo

Desert Recreation District and USMAS present Rojas TKD Desert Valley Championships. Be part of the Desert Recreation District Karate Tournament hosted by our own karate instructor, Angel Rojas. This is your chance to become an outstanding example of the skill that comes from the hard work and discipline necessary to master this art; all schools are welcome.

All competitors must have mouth guards and males a groin protector. Foam dipped hand, feet gear and chest guards are suggested. NO MIXED MARTIAL ARTS GLOVES WILL BE ALLOWED.

If competitor comes to the match unprepared the match will continue without the competitor.

4. Showmanship with or without music

Women’s Self-Defense Workshop

Learn important techniques on how to defend yourself in unthinkable situations. This workshop, taught by Art True, a 6th-degree black belt, will build your confidence and help you develop skills that could save your life. Bring a towel, exercise mat and water bottle. Wear comfortable clothes; closed-toe athletic shoes are required.

Want to have something else in your arsenal besides that can of mace?Then this is the class for you! In this hands-on class, you will learn the skills to become aware of your surroundings and know how to protect yourself. Gain the confidence you need to defend yourself and your loved ones.
