Golf for Everyone
Desert Recreation District invites you to enjoy its recently renovated Par 3 nine-hole golf course in Palm Desert. Players can compare their scores against official standards established by the Southern California Golf Association and work on their short game while experiencing one of the best mountain views in the valley. Families, community organizations and groups are encouraged to contact The Golf Center to stage their next outing or fundraising tournament. Our golf professionals can assist you in making your next family, community or corporate event a real success.

The First Tee
The First Tee is an initiative of the World Golf Foundation. Its mission is to impact the lives of children by providing learning facilities and educational programs to promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf. On January 14, 2008, The First Tee of The Coachella Valley celebrated its grand opening at The Golf Center at Palm Desert. We are proud to offer this exciting program to the children of the Coachella Valley. There is a $100 annual registration fee for this program.
